Moving into October we see Autumnal weather giving us an excuse to layer with knitwear and outerwear, while recent travels have given new discoveries with food and drink that have inspired new tastes and desires to bring them into my daily routine.

Isto have introduced a new Activewear range focused on natural fibres, being made from merino wool, which is a natural thermoregulator, as well as being odor resistent. They have a t-shirt and shorts in two tasteful colours that are perfect for the cooler mornings.

Malloch's Preston Superfine Lambswool Jumper

As the temperature drops, you need a jumper to cater for those cooler mornings and evening, but can regulate your heat nicely when the Autumnal sun shines strong and bright. The Malloch's Preston jumper is made from a superfine lambswool that is soft to the touch and light to wear, giving you the option to wear over shirting, or under jackets. A great layering knit that should be able to see you through the Autumn chill.

VOID Watches PXR-5 Digital Watch

The PXR-5 is a digital watch from VOID Watches designed by British designer Michael Young, with a minimal design that has design language focused on an industrial design inspiration but with a clean digital watch face. It features a nato style strap that reminds me of an contemporary field watch interpretation. Either way, it's a fun watch that can be customised with a host of different straps depending on your mood or outfit.

Select Aperitivo

I recently came back from a trip around central Europe which included a last stop at Venice. I was recommended a local aperitif when taking having an afternoon drink with some cicchetti and the owner suggested I try Select. It's a Venetian bitter aperitif that is small batch produced, compared to the familiar Aperol or Campari aperitifs. Slightly subtler but more rounded, it can be made into refreshing Spritz's or used in making Americano or Negroni cocktails.
