The Orchard Cut is the 2nd release whisky expression from English whisky producer Rosemaund, blending limited batch whiskies available via ballot due to high demand, while keeping as fair as possible for whisky lovers to enjoy their unique whisky.

SPRING AT ROSEMAUND IS GREEN.
Not loud, alive.
Orchard blossom, cut grass, cool air moving through the trees.

The Orchard Cut, features a selection of nine fully matured bourbon casks from our 2014 to 2016 fills, with each having a unique flavour profile:
- Cask 122 — Heaven Hill, 2014. Rounded vanilla, soft orchard fruit lift.
- Casks 168 & 169 — Heaven Hill, 2015. Crisp apple acidity, cleaner citrus structure.
- Cask 174 — Heaven Hill, 2015. Herbal edge, green fruit tension.
- Casks 180, 184, 185 — Heaven Hill, 2015. Brighter highs, slightly later fills.
- Casks 201 & 202 — Jim Beam, 2016. Creamier mid-palate, soft baking spice.
Bourbon casks support the taste, rather than mask. American oak gives us vanilla and structure. The orchard gives us the rest: the green apple, the blossom, the cool cucumber skin, the white pepper finish.
Rosemaund believe a significant part of flavour comes from place. Herefordshire spring matters. Cool nights. Gradual warmth. Moist orchard air.
