Seiko Prospex celebrates the spirit of Grand Touring with a collection of four Speedtimer chronographs inspired by the freedom, elegance and thrill of long-distance driving. Drawing on Seiko’s pioneering chronograph heritage, the collection captures the feeling of cruising along open coastal highways, where performance meets effortless style.
The collection includes the Grand Touring Mechanical Chronograph in Sky Blue, which captures the vivid atmosphere of windswept coastal roads with its vibrant blue dial and embossed highway-inspired pattern, and the Grand Touring Mechanical Chronograph in Silver Grey model, offering a more understated interpretation with a black dial, silver grey accents and a sophisticated grey LWG-certified leather strap. Together, the two designs bring contrasting expressions of the Grand Touring experience.
Both mechanical chronographs are powered by Seiko’s in-house 8R48 mechanical chronograph calibre, combining a vertical clutch and column wheel for precise time measurement. Their 42mm cases feature a tachymeter bezel and dual-curved sapphire crystal, while the Sky Blue model is finished with a multi-row bracelet inspired by Seiko’s original 1972 ‘Panda’ chronograph.
