Thread.com has been on my radar for several years, but I never really took the time to fully explore. They approached me to try out the site and create an outfit.

I originally thought they were a subscription service and didn’t want to be bothered with endless unwanted garb. However, to my better judgement, I discovered that Thread.com is not a subscription service – it’s more of a shopping portal centred around tailoring the experience to your body shape, style and brand affinity.

After spending time going through a quiz to define shape, fit, style, brands I like and dislike, shaping a personalised window into my style preferences to help curate a tailored selection. Shopable styles personalised for me were generated and shared depending on budget and style. You can easily remove unwanted brands or looks to help narrow down your desired selection which helps navigate through the shopping experience.

I was actually thoroughly surprised and impressed to discover a whole host of brands ranging from high-street to luxury – they actually have more than 1500 brands, including the likes of A.P.C, Issey Miyake, Lemaire, Gramicci, and Bianca Saunders to name but a few.
